- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream, and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and black pepper.
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
