- 1 can Sliced Peaches (Canned, fresh or frozen can be used)
- 1 cup Whipped Cream or Ice Cream (A must for serving warm)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Melt butter in a shallow 2-quart baking dish.
- Drain the canned peaches and reserve 1/4 cup of the juice. Boil the peaches with the reserved juice in a saucepan until warmed through.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir in the milk until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish. Spoon the hot peach mixture over the batter and sprinkle any remaining sugar on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbling and golden on top.
- Scoop out warm portions and serve topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
