  • 1 cup Milk (2%) (Substitute with almond or oat milk for dairy-free option)
  • 1 can Sliced Peaches (Canned, fresh or frozen can be used)
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream or Ice Cream (A must for serving warm)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Melt butter in a shallow 2-quart baking dish.
  3. Drain the canned peaches and reserve 1/4 cup of the juice. Boil the peaches with the reserved juice in a saucepan until warmed through.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir in the milk until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish. Spoon the hot peach mixture over the batter and sprinkle any remaining sugar on top.
