Description
Maple Garlic Chicken is a quick one-pan dinner with juicy chicken and a sticky maple-soy garlic glaze. It’s sweet, savory, and family-friendly.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari)
- 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
- Fresh herbs or sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove to a plate.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant. Stir in maple syrup, soy sauce, and Dijon (if using). Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet. Spoon glaze over chicken and simmer uncovered 6–8 minutes, turning/basting often, until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and sauce is glossy and slightly thickened.
- Garnish with herbs or green onions. Spoon extra glaze over chicken and serve warm.
