Description

These Christmas Rice Crispy Truffles are chewy, sweet, festive, and incredibly easy to make. A fun no-bake holiday treat dipped in chocolate and finished with sprinkles—perfect for gifting, dessert trays, and parties.


Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows (approx. 6 cups)
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips (or almond bark)
  • Holiday sprinkles, for decorating
  • Red and green food coloring (optional)
  • Frosting or candy melts (optional alternative to chocolate)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add mini marshmallows and stir until smooth. Mix in vanilla and salt.
  2. Remove from heat and fold in the Rice Krispies until fully coated.
  3. Cool for 5 minutes, then roll into balls using greased hands or a cookie scoop. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate for 20 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt white chocolate in intervals. Dip each truffle halfway or fully, then add sprinkles.
  6. Use frosting or candy melts instead of chocolate for color variety.
  7. Let chocolate set at room temperature before serving or packaging.
