Description

Sticky Pineapple Brown Sugar Glazed Beef is a tropical-inspired dish that combines tender beef with a sweet and savory glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the beef chuck roast into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and sear the beef until golden brown on all sides (about 3-4 minutes per side).
  3. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger paste, minced garlic, and cornstarch until smooth.
  4. Pour the glaze over the seared beef in the skillet; add pineapple chunks and toss to coat.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and let simmer for 20-25 minutes until the beef is tender.
  6. Serve over rice or with steamed vegetables, drizzling remaining glaze on top.
