Description

These fluffy biscuits are made with cottage cheese and herbs, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in cottage cheese, chives, parsley, and black pepper until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times.
  6. Pat the dough into a thickness of about 1 inch and cut out biscuits using a round cutter.
  7. Place biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
