Ingredients

  • 500 g Pork Mince
  • 1 packet French Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 100 g Cheese (Cheddar or Mozzarella)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Herbs (Thyme, Rosemary, Parsley)
  • 1 tsp Chili Flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the pork mince, French onion soup mix, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and slice it in half. Scoop filling along the edge and roll the pastry over it, sealing the edges with water or egg wash.
  4. Beat the egg with the milk and brush over the tops of the rolls for a shiny finish.
  5. Place rolls on the baking tray and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Let the rolls cool slightly on a wire rack and serve warm.
