Description

This easy honey garlic chicken recipe is perfect for a busy weeknight, simply dump the ingredients in the crockpot and let it cook.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
  4. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, remove the chicken and shred it.
  6. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water, then add to the sauce in the crockpot to thicken.
  7. Add the shredded chicken back into the crockpot and stir to coat.
