Description

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 4 medium Russet potatoes
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Safflower oil
  • to taste Flaky salt

Instructions

  1. Grate the russet potatoes and onion into a bowl.
  2. Mix in potato starch, baking powder, salt, and pepper to the grated mixture.
  3. Stir in the lightly whisked eggs and combine well.
  4. Heat safflower oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Drop heaping tablespoons of the potato mixture into the hot oil and flatten slightly.
