Festive Christmas Truffles Recipe with Cranberry and Pistachio


Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz (450g) high-quality white chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup shelled pistachios, chopped (plus more for topping)
  • Optional: pinch of sea salt or orange zest for brightness
  • For coating: extra melted white chocolate or powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Place chopped white chocolate in a bowl. Heat cream until just simmering and pour over chocolate. Let sit 2–3 minutes, then stir until smooth.
  2. Stir in vanilla extract, cranberries, pistachios, and optional zest or salt.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours until firm enough to scoop.
  4. Scoop and roll into balls, then place on a parchment-lined tray.
  5. Roll in melted white chocolate, powdered sugar, or crushed pistachios. Chill 15–20 minutes to set.
  6. Garnish with cranberries or pistachios and enjoy slightly chilled.
