Description

Festive Butterfinger Balls are a delightful holiday treat made with a crunchy Butterfinger center, coated in green and brown melting chocolate, perfect for gifting or holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups of Butterfinger crumbs (about 45 full-size Butterfinger bars)
  • ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups green melting chocolate (or red, depending on your desired color)
  • 1 cup brown melting chocolate (for a contrasting color)
  • Sprinkles, if desired (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Place Butterfinger bars in a food processor and pulse until crumbs form. Alternatively, use a Ziploc bag and rolling pin to crush.
  2. Mix Butterfinger crumbs, peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and softened butter in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Scoop the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill for 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. Melt green and brown chocolate using a double boiler or microwave. Stir until smooth and glossy.
  5. Dip each ball into melted chocolate and place back on the parchment-lined sheet. Let excess chocolate drip off before setting.
  6. Add sprinkles or any festive decorations while the chocolate is still soft.
  7. Allow the chocolate to set for about 30 minutes, or place in the fridge to speed up the process. Serve and enjoy!
