Description
Festive Butterfinger Balls are a delightful holiday treat made with a crunchy Butterfinger center, coated in green and brown melting chocolate, perfect for gifting or holiday celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups of Butterfinger crumbs (about 4–5 full-size Butterfinger bars)
- ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups green melting chocolate (or red, depending on your desired color)
- 1 cup brown melting chocolate (for a contrasting color)
- Sprinkles, if desired (for decoration)
Instructions
- Place Butterfinger bars in a food processor and pulse until crumbs form. Alternatively, use a Ziploc bag and rolling pin to crush.
- Mix Butterfinger crumbs, peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and softened butter in a large bowl until smooth.
- Scoop the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Melt green and brown chocolate using a double boiler or microwave. Stir until smooth and glossy.
- Dip each ball into melted chocolate and place back on the parchment-lined sheet. Let excess chocolate drip off before setting.
- Add sprinkles or any festive decorations while the chocolate is still soft.
- Allow the chocolate to set for about 30 minutes, or place in the fridge to speed up the process. Serve and enjoy!
