Delicious Winter Fruit Salad with Cinnamon Vanilla Twist

- 4 pieces Cuties mandarin oranges
- 2 pieces Fuji apples
- 1 cup Pomegranates
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Water
- 2 pieces Cinnamon sticks
- 1 piece Vanilla bean
Instructions
- Peel and segment the Cuties mandarin oranges into bite-sized pieces.
- Core and dice the Fuji apples into uniform chunks.
- Cut open the pomegranates to extract the jewel-like arils.
- In a medium saucepan, combine granulated sugar, water, and cinnamon sticks. Stir gently and simmer.
- Split the vanilla bean down the middle and scrape the seeds, adding both to the saucepan.
- Remove from heat and let the dressing cool completely.
- Pour the cooled dressing over the mixed fruit in a large bowl and toss gently.
