Delicious Winter Fruit Salad with Cinnamon Vanilla Twist


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces Cuties mandarin oranges
  • 2 pieces Fuji apples
  • 1 cup Pomegranates
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 2 pieces Cinnamon sticks
  • 1 piece Vanilla bean

Instructions

  1. Peel and segment the Cuties mandarin oranges into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Core and dice the Fuji apples into uniform chunks.
  3. Cut open the pomegranates to extract the jewel-like arils.
  4. In a medium saucepan, combine granulated sugar, water, and cinnamon sticks. Stir gently and simmer.
  5. Split the vanilla bean down the middle and scrape the seeds, adding both to the saucepan.
  6. Remove from heat and let the dressing cool completely.
  7. Pour the cooled dressing over the mixed fruit in a large bowl and toss gently.
