Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl until fluffy for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the egg and maple syrup, beating until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl.
- Combine the dry ingredients gradually into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just mixed.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips and any optional add-ins you choose.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto a baking sheet, leaving space between each ball.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown but centers remain soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Optional: Drizzle melted white chocolate on top after cooling.
