Description

A delicious and easy recipe for Tomato Basil Shrimp Pasta that combines fresh tomatoes, basil, and succulent shrimp.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add cherry tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
  5. Toss in cooked spaghetti, fresh basil, and lemon juice. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional basil if desired.
