Delicious cream cheese thumbprint cookies filled with your choice of jam or preserves.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup fruit jam or preserves
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheets.
- Use your thumb to make an indentation in the center of each ball.
- Fill each indentation with your choice of jam or preserves.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
