Description
Sushi Wonton Cones are a fun and customizable appetizer, combining crispy wonton shells with fluffy sushi rice and fresh fillings.

- 1 cup Sushi Rice
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 12 pieces Wonton Wrappers
- 1 medium Avocado
- 1 medium Cucumber
- 1 cup Cooked Shrimp
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Sriracha (optional)
- 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
- 2 tbsp Chopped Green Onions
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
Instructions
- Rinse sushi rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Combine the rinsed rice with water in a saucepan. Bring it to a boil, then simmer for 18-20 minutes.
- Cool the rice by letting it sit covered for another 10 minutes.
- Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl until dissolved, then fold into rice.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
- Press wonton wrappers into each muffin cup, shaping them into cones.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy, then cool on a wire rack.
- Combine chopped cooked shrimp, mayonnaise, and sriracha in a bowl.
- Assemble the cones with sushi rice, shrimp mixture, avocado, and cucumber.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve with soy sauce for dipping.
