Ingredients

  • 100 g Butter (Can substitute with coconut oil for a vegan option.)
  • 250 ml Whipped Cream (Consider Greek yogurt for a tangy twist.)
  • 200 g Cream Cheese (Greek yogurt can be a lighter substitute.)
  • 300 g Fresh Strawberries (Can substitute with raspberries or peaches.)
  • 1 tblsp Lemon Juice (Enhances the flavor of strawberries.)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base: Crush the lotus biscuits in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Combine with melted butter and mix until the crumbs stick together. Press into the bottom of your dish to create an even base.
  2. Make the Cream Layer: In a mixing bowl, combine the whipped cream with cream cheese. Whisk until smooth and fluffy. Optionally fold in Greek yogurt.
  3. Assemble Layers: Spread an even layer of the cream mixture over the biscuit base. Layer on thinly sliced strawberries tossed in lemon juice.
  4. Repeat Layers: If desired, repeat the cream and strawberry layers. Finish with crushed cookies on top.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes to allow flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
