Description

Snickerdoodle Cobbler is a warm, gooey dessert that combines the flavors of classic snickerdoodle cookies with a buttery, cinnamon-sugar cobbler.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place butter in a 9×13-inch baking pan and melt it in the oven while it preheats. Remove once melted.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together self-rising flour, granulated sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter—do not stir.
  5. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the top of the batter.
  6. Slowly pour hot water over the top without stirring.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and slightly crisp, with a bubbling sauce underneath.
  8. Cool slightly before serving warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
