Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine sweet rice flour and sugar. Gradually add water while stirring until a smooth dough forms.
- Divide the dough into equal-sized pieces (about 1 inch in diameter) and roll each into a ball.
- Bring water to a boil in a pot, then gently drop in the dango balls. Cook until they float (approximately 3 minutes).
- Transfer cooked dango to an ice bath to cool for a few minutes.
- Serve plain or with toppings like sweet soy sauce, red bean paste, or fresh fruit.
