Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup Fine sugar
  • 4 pieces Fresh salted egg yolks
  • 1 piece Beaten egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp Water

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, corn starch, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and milk powder.
  2. In a separate bowl, cream the softened unsalted butter and fine sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the fresh salted egg yolks to the butter and sugar mixture. Mix well.
  4. Gradually incorporate your dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the beaten egg yolk with a splash of water.
  6. Form the dough into your desired shapes and brush the tops with the egg wash.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds atop your cookies before baking.
