Description

Delicious and festive peppermint Oreo truffles, perfect for the holiday season!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes

Instructions

  1. Crumble the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix with softened cream cheese and peppermint extract until well combined.
  2. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
  5. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate and place back on the parchment paper.
  6. Sprinkle the tops with crushed candy canes before the chocolate sets.
  7. Refrigerate until the chocolate is firm.
