Description

- 4 pears, peeled and sliced
- 30 g butter
- 30 g brown sugar
- 2 tbsp water
- 100 g butter, melted
- 100 g brown sugar
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 110 g plain flour
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (fan bake).
- In a shallow casserole dish over low heat, melt butter and brown sugar until bubbling.
- Add sliced pears, stir to coat, then add water. Simmer 5 minutes until pears begin to soften. Remove from heat.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, oats, flour, and cinnamon until combined.
- Spread crumble mixture evenly over pears.
- Bake about 30 minutes, or until topping is crisp and golden.
- Serve warm with custard or ice cream.
