Description

Soft & Chewy Peanut Butter Blossoms are nostalgic, tender, melt-in-your-mouth cookies topped with chocolate Kiss candies.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (plus extra for rolling)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 36 chocolate Kiss candies (unwrapped)
  • No-Bake Variation: Peanut butter, powdered sugar, crushed cereal or oats, chocolate Kiss candies
  • Gluten-Free Version: Use 1:1 gluten-free flour blend

Instructions

  1. Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Beat butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix until smooth.
  4. Add dry mixture gradually and mix until just combined.
  5. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in granulated sugar.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes until lightly cracked.
  7. Immediately press a Kiss into each warm cookie.
  8. Let cookies rest on the baking sheet, then transfer to a rack.
  9. Mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, and crushed cereal/oats.
  10. Shape into balls.
  11. Roll in sugar.
  12. Press chocolate Kiss into center.
