Soft & Chewy Peanut Butter Blossoms are nostalgic, tender, melt-in-your-mouth cookies topped with chocolate Kiss candies.

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar (plus extra for rolling)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 36 chocolate Kiss candies (unwrapped)
- No-Bake Variation: Peanut butter, powdered sugar, crushed cereal or oats, chocolate Kiss candies
- Gluten-Free Version: Use 1:1 gluten-free flour blend
Instructions
- Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Beat butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix until smooth.
- Add dry mixture gradually and mix until just combined.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in granulated sugar.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes until lightly cracked.
- Immediately press a Kiss into each warm cookie.
- Let cookies rest on the baking sheet, then transfer to a rack.
- Mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, and crushed cereal/oats.
- Shape into balls.
- Roll in sugar.
- Press chocolate Kiss into center.
