- 1.5 cups long-grain white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed

- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides, about 6-7 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together chicken broth, lemon juice, thyme, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and add the rice, stirring for a minute to absorb the flavor.
- Pour the broth mixture over the rice and nestle the chicken on top. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
- Let the dish sit for a few minutes before garnishing with lemon slices and parsley.
