- 1 cup Chopped Strawberries
- 1/2 cup Chopped Strawberries (for glaze)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons Melted Butter
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 cup Heavy Cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together the sugar, milk, oil, egg, and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine the dry and wet mixtures until just incorporated.
- Toss strawberries and pecans in a bit of flour (optional) and fold them into the batter gently.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×5 loaf pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes, checking with a toothpick in the center; it should come out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing the ingredients until smooth and drizzle over the cooled bread.

- Freeze slices for up to three months.
