Instructions
- Peel and slice the carrots into uniform pieces (about half an inch thick).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbling.
- Add carrot slices; stir to coat with butter.
- Sprinkle in brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon; stir until sugar dissolves.
- Pour in water and bring to a gentle boil; reduce heat to low.
- Simmer uncovered for 15-20 minutes until carrots are tender and sauce thickens.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed; serve warm.
