- 1 cup creamy peanut butter (not natural-style)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips (milk, semi-sweet, or dark)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening
- Sprinkles
- Sea salt flakes
- Crushed nuts
- Colored chocolate drizzle
Instructions
- Mix peanut butter, melted butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt until thick and smooth.
- Press mixture into silicone heart molds or roll and cut with heart cookie cutters. Freeze for 20 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip frozen peanut butter hearts into melted chocolate, coating fully. Place on parchment-lined tray.
- Add sprinkles, sea salt, or chocolate drizzle while chocolate is wet.
- Refrigerate or freeze until fully set before serving.
