Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar mixture. Mix until just combined and a dough forms.
  5. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead a few times to bring it together into a ball.
