Description
A quick and easy beef and broccoli recipe made in the crockpot.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef flank steak, sliced thin
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Place sliced beef in the bottom of a crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the sauce over the beef in the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry; add it to the crockpot to thicken the sauce.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
