Description

A quick and easy beef and broccoli recipe made in the crockpot.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds beef flank steak, sliced thin
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Place sliced beef in the bottom of a crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce over the beef in the crockpot.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets.
  6. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry; add it to the crockpot to thicken the sauce.
  7. Serve over rice or noodles.
