Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup uncooked rice
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with onions and garlic.
- Once browned, drain any excess fat.
- Add the cooked beef mixture to the crockpot.
- Add chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the cabbage is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the uncooked rice and let it cook until tender.
