Description

Speedy Creamy Ranch Chicken that Delivers Comfort in Every Bite. This Creamy Ranch Chicken provides a quick and flavorful dinner option, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces Boneless Chicken Breasts
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 clove Minced Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 1 cup Chicken Stock
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 packet Ranch Seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cut the boneless chicken breasts horizontally into cutlets. Season them generously with garlic powder, mixed herbs, salt, and pepper for rich flavor.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat until melted and bubbly. Sear the chicken cutlets for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add a little more butter if needed and sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds, taking care not to let it brown.
  4. Stir in the flour and cook for an additional 30 seconds. Gradually whisk in the chicken stock until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.
  5. Lower the heat and fold in the sour cream and ranch seasoning, whisking well to combine everything into a luscious, creamy sauce.
  6. Return the chicken to the pan, spoon the sauce over the top, and let it simmer for a minute to absorb the flavors. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Chicken thighs can be used for more flavor.
  • Feel free to substitute olive oil with vegetable oil.
  • Replace butter with more olive oil for a dairy-free version.
  • Fresh minced garlic can substitute garlic powder.
  • Gluten-free flour works as a substitution.
  • Vegetable stock can be used as a warm alternative.
  • Heavy cream may alter the flavor.
  • Consider homemade ranch seasoning as an alternative.
