Description

Christmas Red Velvet Cheesecake with Oreo crust is a festive delight. It’s creamy, decadent, and beautifully layered, making it perfect for your holiday table.


Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Mix the crushed Oreo cookies with the melted butter. Press the mixture into a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then cool.
  2. Beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla, flour, cocoa powder, red food coloring, sour cream, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled Oreo crust. Tap the pan to remove air bubbles and smooth the top.
  4. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Turn off the oven, leave the cheesecake in with the door ajar for 1 hour, then cool in the fridge for 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Carefully remove the cheesecake from the springform pan and garnish with whipped cream, sprinkles, or chocolate ganache if desired. Serve cold.
