Description

Classic Christmas Peppermint Creams are soft, melt-in-your-mouth holiday candies made with icing sugar, peppermint extract, and a simple no-bake method. Refreshing, nostalgic, and perfect for gifting.


Ingredients

  • 1 egg white (or aquafaba for vegan version)
  • 400g icing sugar, sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Optional: Food coloring (red, green, or festive shades)
  • 100g dark chocolate, for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Beat egg white (or aquafaba) until frothy.
  2. Gradually mix in sifted icing sugar until a smooth, pliable dough forms.
  3. Add peppermint extract and optional food coloring.
  4. Knead lightly, then roll dough between parchment to 1 cm thickness.
  5. Cut into discs or festive shapes using cutters.
  6. Let shapes air-dry for a few hours until slightly firm.
  7. Melt dark chocolate and dip half of each cream; let set.
  8. Allow to dry completely before serving or packaging.
