- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (42g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup (180g) semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- 12 large marshmallows (halved) or 24 mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in egg and vanilla until fully combined.
- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Add dry ingredients to wet mixture, then mix in milk until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Flatten 1 tablespoon dough, place marshmallow in center, wrap dough around and seal.
- Place on lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F (177°C) for 10–12 minutes.
- Let cool 5 minutes on tray, then transfer to a rack.
