Decadent Chocolate Crinkle Blossom Cookies You Can’t Resist


Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 0.75 cups Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 2 large Large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and butter together in 30-second increments.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, packed brown sugar, large eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until creamy, then slowly add the melted chocolate mixture.
  4. Sift together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Gradually fold this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  6. Using a tablespoon, scoop out portions of dough and roll them into balls. Roll each ball in powdered sugar before placing them on the prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, looking for set edges with soft centers.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
