Description

A creamy and delightful pasta dish featuring burrata cheese, roasted garlic, and a hint of lemon.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 head garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wrap the head of garlic in foil and roast for 30-35 minutes until soft.
  3. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, roasted garlic (squeezed out of the skin), and lemon juice. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  6. Fill each pasta shell with a spoonful of burrata cheese and place them in a baking dish.
  7. Pour the garlic cream sauce over the filled shells.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
