- 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and beaten eggs until smooth.
- Spread the sweet potato mixture into a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, chopped pecans, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt to create the topping.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
