Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 24 tablespoons water, as needed

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine black beans, tahini, olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Process until smooth, adding water as necessary to reach desired consistency.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
